This mug is made from unrefined wild clay. The exterior surface is printed with a vintage bird decal printed in West Germany. This combination of materials gives this piece the feeling of an object that has been unearthed or from another time. 
The unrefined clay also creates imperfections in the surface adding to its unique character. 
Even though the prints are fired on washing by hand prolongs the life span of decalled surfaces.  This cup holds about 10-12 oz of liquid
