The clay for this piece was harvested from the banks of the Chilliwack River. The piece is all about material and place with it's minimal form and simple glaze application. The only surface embellishment is the geographical coordinates identifying the origin of the clay. The mug is about 2.5" tall and 3" across the top. These are made individually and there is some variation in clay colour so the piece you get may be slightly different from the piece you see here.
