The clay for this piece was dug by hand (shovel and bucket) from the banks of the Chilliwack River. The piece is all about material and place with it's minimal form and simple glaze application. The only surface embellishment is the geographical coordinates identifying the origin of the clay. Planters measure approx. 4" tall and about the same across the top. Pieces may vary slightly in colour and shape as they are all made individually and there is some variation in clay tone in each piece.
