The clay for this piece was dug by hand (shovel and bucket) from the banks of the Chilliwack River. The piece is all about material and place with it's minimal form and simple glaze application. The only surface embellishment is the geographical coordinates identifying the origin of the clay. These are made individually and there is some variation in clay colour so the piece you get may be slightly different from the piece pictured here. This is a good size for a serving bowl or could be used as a small fruit bowl. It measures about 4.5" tall and 8.5" across the top.
