The clay for this piece was dug by hand from the banks of the Chilliwack River. The piece is all about material and place with it's minimal form and simple glaze application. The only surface embellishment is the geographical coordinates identifying the origin of the clay. This planter is unglazed on the the interior, glazed on the exterior. It measures about 51/2" tall and 4.5" across the top.
