The clay for this piece was dug by hand from the banks of the Chilliwack River. The piece is all about material and place with it's minimal form and simple glaze application. The only surface embellishment is the geographical coordinates identifying the origin of the clay. These bowls are perfect as a large soup bowl, or as a noodle or rice bowl. They measure approx. 4" tall and 6 1/2" across the top.
